Meet Sue Vilardi

Sue started Set the Bar with a simple idea: weddings and events should feel effortless, and the bar should be part of the celebration, not a stress point. With more than 25 years behind the bar and on Long Beach Island (LBI), she knows what makes a bar run smoothly and what makes it memorable.

Every couple, every event has its own vibe. Whether you're offering a full bar with signature cocktails or a wine-and-beer setup, Sue works with you to tailor the experience. She helps figure out what alcohol to stock (and how much) so your guests are happy and the lines stay moving.

Signature drinks? She’s got you. From refreshing summer favorites like watermelon margs to cozy fall options like apple-cider mules, she makes sure every guest feels included.

Staffing and timing? Covered. Sue advises on the right number of bartenders for your guest count, what transitions like cocktail hour look like, and how to avoid long waits or running out of drinks.
